What Are We About? Neuroscience-Net

The Internet has finally come to Neuroscience
(or perhaps it is the other way around).Neuroscience-Net is a major new scientific journal published in electronic-only format on the World Wide Web. The articles you see here will contain some of the most exciting neuroscience research data in existence, and they will be published in a very timely fashion. From acceptance to publication will be two weeks or less, guaranteed, as long as authors follow all directions (see Instructions to Contributors).
Publication will be on the Internet, available immediately around the world to anyone and everyone with a computer and a connection to the web. There is no charge for reading the journal, nor is there any charge for publishing manuscripts. Abstracts can be downloaded separately from the entire article, saving you time. No more writing to authors for reprints and hoping there are still some available (no more running out of reprints either). No more wishing your library carried the journal. No more waiting months for an accepted article to be published. No more searching through dusty archives for back issues. Tomorrow is here today . . . at Neuroscience-Net.
As Editor-in-Chief of several journals, John E. Johnson, Jr., Ph.D. brings considerable experience to Neuroscience-Net. He has served as editor for Synapse and Microscopy Research and Technique for more than a decade, and also as editor of other popular Internet magazines since 1994.
Manuscripts are processed by our Section Editors and are to be sent directly to them by E-Mail (text and graphics). The author can choose which Section Editor to whom manuscripts are sent. All manuscripts are peer reviewed (entirely by E-Mail).
